Lake District Weddings at Castle Inn Hotel

Set in a stunning location nestled beneath the fells and overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake, we are the perfect venue for any wedding celebration no matter how large or small. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in each of our function rooms which can hold anything from 4-130 people.

Our Budworth Hall comfortably seats up to 130 people for a sit down meal and is licensed until midnight for evening entertainment. The Budworth also has it’s very own purpose built, fully stocked bar so your guests need not leave your room at all. With a large permanent staging area at the top end of the of the Hall and a wooden dancefloor stretching the length of the room, it is the perfect venue to dance the night away.

Our Skelton Room can comfortably seat up to 50 people for a more intimate gathering. This room overlooks our gardens and has direct access on to them too. This room is not licensed for evening entertainment however it is ideal for smaller groups who wish to have a more relaxed and informal feel to their evening.

From your initial enquiry through to the very end of your special day, we will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have. You will have a dedicated wedding coordinator to assist you with the organisation of your day and on your wedding day itself, you will have a function manager to ensure the day runs as smoothly and effortlessly as you envisage.
